Cape May

Cape May, New Jersey is America's oldest seaside resort, hosting beachgoers since the 1760s, and the Victorian streets a block off the sand look much as they did when the gingerbread houses went up. Summer is the classic season, though the town stays pleasant well into fall, when the birds migrate through and the porch rockers are easier to come by.
